|
To enter, participants must:
· Create an original healthy snack or smoothie recipe inspired by Fuel to Go & Play principles.
· Include a brief description of why the recipe is great for before or after training.
· Submit via the entry link.
· Entries must be submitted during the Competition Period.

Eligible Entrants
|
· Open to WA residents aged 17 years or younger.
· Parental or Guardian consent is required for participants under 18 years of age.

Start date: Monday 13th October.
End Date: Sunday 30th November.

During the Competition Period, he or she must submit a completed Entry Form via the competition link as detailed in Entry Details.
By submitting the form, the entrant warrants that he or she has read these Conditions of Entry and has sought and received consent from a parent(s) or legal guardian to provide personal information to Badminton WA for the purposes of entering into and participating in this competition, including participating in any promotional activities (such as publicity and photography) regarding winning the prize and the use of the Badminton WA members name and image in promotional material without payment.

There is only one allowed entry per person.

Entry Criteria
|
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges, spread across roles within Badminton WA. Entries will be based on creativity, nutritional value, and connection to Fuel to Go & Play messages.
Two major winners will be chosen overall, based on meeting the competition criteria from all entries received and verified by Badminton WA and or its agents, with one winner from each age category – 5-11 years old and 12-17 years old, with the intended age being at the date and time of competition closing.
Two minor prize winners (2nd) will be awarded in each age group.
The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners and runners up must be willing to allow their recipes to be shared across social media channels.

Prize Details
|
There are 2 (two) major prizes to be won during the competition period and 2 (two) minor prizes. 1 major and 1 minor prize to each of the following age categories: 7-11 & 12-17.

Minor Prize (2) – Nutribullet Portable Blender (RRP $80.00) + Fuel to Go & Play Prize Pack

Prize Conditions
|
The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a winner does not take a part of the Prize at the time set by Badminton WA, the winner will forfeit that part. Badminton WA accepts no responsibility for changes in Prize value. If a Prize is unavailable, Badminton WA will substitute it for one of equal or greater value.

The total prize pool is valued at up to $558.00 (inc GST)

Notification Method
|
The parent(s) or legal guardians of the prize winners will be notified in writing (via email provided at point of entry) and/or by telephone by Badminton WA within two days of the judges’ decision.
Winners will also be announced via Badminton WA’s social media channels and other digital means i.e., Members eNewsletters.

Prize Claim Date & Time
|
The prize winners and runners up will be announced on Friday the 12th of December. The prize/s must be claimed by 5:00 PM WST, Friday the 19th of December 2025.
Where a prize is no longer available, for example, because the date of an event has passed, the new prize winner will receive a prize as determined by Badminton WA of equal or higher value.

Conditions of Entry
1. These Conditions of Entry must be read together with the Schedule. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
2. Entry is open to residents of Western Australia who comply with the Entry Requirements (if any). Entries submitted by Ineligible Entrants are not accepted. If entry is permitted to persons under 18, those entrants must first obtain consent of their parent or guardian.
3. The competition will be run during the Competition Period.
4. To enter, entrants must follow the Entry Method, noting any Entry Details, and submit their entries during the Competition Period.
5. Entrants may only submit up to the Maximum Number of Entries.
6. All valid entries will be entered into the competition. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Badminton WA has no control over telecommunications networks and accepts no responsibility for problems associated with them. Entries deemed received at the time of receipt into Badminton WA database, not at the time of transmission. Entries submitted using any form of automated entry device or software are ineligible. Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry will be deemed invalid. Badminton WA accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, tampering, theft, destruction failure or otherwise.
7. The best valid entry as determined by the judges according to the Entry Criteria will win the Prize described in the Schedule.
8. Each valid entry will be individually judged based on the Entry Criteria. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. All entries will become Badminton WA property. Each entry must be the entrant’s original work and entrants agree that Badminton WA may make copies of or publish their entry in any form or media. Entrants warrant that their entry is not, and its use by Badminton WA will not be, in breach of any person’s intellectual property rights or any other rights.
10. All competition details will be shared with our funding partners, Healthway and the Fuel to Go & Play teams. Additionally, please note that the winner’s information will also be shared with Badminton WA & Healthway.
11. Following the consent of their parent(s) or legal guardians, winners agree to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the Prize and consent to their name and image being used in promotional material without payment.
12. Entrants acknowledge that there may be some inherent risks is some aspects of using the Prize and that it is their responsibility to ensure that they are sufficiently healthy and fit to undertake activities associated with the Prize. It is a condition of accepting such Prize that upon request the winner will sign a legal release in favour of Badminton WA and/or the issuer of the Prize and the agencies associated with the competition.
13. Winners will be notified by the Notification Method described in the Schedule.
14. Badminton WA may request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated Prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Badminton WA.
15. Prizes must be claimed by the Prize Claim Date and Time otherwise that winner will forfeit the Prize and Badminton WA will distribute the Prize to the next best valid entry that has not already received a Prize. Where a Prize is no longer available, for example, because the date of an event has passed, the new Prize winner will receive a Prize as determined by Badminton WA of equal or higher value.
16. Badminton WA does not warrant and makes no representations that any Prize will be fit for any purpose or will be of merchantable quality. If liability under any terms implied at law cannot be excluded, the liability of Badminton WA and its associated agencies is limited to the re-supply of the Prize or the cost of its re-supply.
17. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion is affected for any reason, Badminton WA may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, change or suspend the competition. Badminton WA may disqualify any individual who tampers (or benefits from the tampering) with the entry process or the conduct of the competition or who has, in Badminton WA’s opinion, engaged in conduct, which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of Badminton WA or has breached these Conditions of Entry.
18. Badminton WA will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the competition or using the Prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
19. Badminton WA accepts no responsibility for the tax implications of Prize winnings. Winners should obtain independent tax advice to determine how this may affect their circumstances.
