Western Australian badminton players Seryna Xiao and Mimi Ngo delivered outstanding performances on the international stage, returning home with an impressive medal haul from the Victor Oceania Junior Championships 2025, held recently in Saipan.
Competing against the best young talent from across the region, both players showcased their skill, composure, and determination in what was a fiercely contested tournament.
Mimi Ngo was one of the standout athletes of the Championships, claiming an incredible three medals:
Her versatility across all disciplines was on full display, proving she is one of the most well-rounded and promising junior players in the country.
Seryna Xiao also made her mark with a stellar campaign, winning a Silver medal in Women’s Doubles. In doing so, she became the only non-Falcon player from Australia to reach a final – an impressive feat and a testament to the depth of talent emerging from Western Australia.
