Oceanridge Senior Social Badminton Club is a friendly and inclusive club for seniors aged 55 and over. We welcome players of all backgrounds and skill levels, from beginners to more experienced players, and we value both the game of badminton and the enjoyment of good company.
We play every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am (including school holidays) at the Heathridge Community Centre with the exception of Christmas and New Year. Players are free to arrive and leave as suits their schedule. Games are balanced to ensure fun and fairness across all four wooden courts, with around 15 to 20 players attending each session. In addition, we have regular social events, including monthly lunches as well as Xmas in July and a Christmas party at year's end. For all these events we currently provide a subsidy.
You are also very welcome to pop in to the Heathridge Community Centre on one of our days to have a quick look around and introduce yourself – just ask for a committee member upon arrival. Let's put it this way: you'll hear us before you see us!
