About BAWA

Since 1924, The Badminton Association of Western Australia (Badminton WA) has contributed immensely to the development of the sport in Australia. We are steadfast in our vision to promote badminton as a fast, exciting, and inclusive sport for all ages and abilities throughout the Golden State.

Western Australia has been a strong contender in the sport of badminton for more than 20 years. The WA senior and junior teams have consistently finished no lower than second place in any national competition from the early sixties until the late eighties.
