Badminton WA Appoints Rick Wolters as Executive Officer

To our Badminton community,

It is with great pleasure I announce the appointment of Rick Wolters as Badminton WA's new Executive Officer. Rick will commence in the role on Tuesday 28 January 2020. The Board of Management looks forward to welcoming Rick to Badminton WA.

Rick comes to us with extensive sports administration experience ranging from State Sporting Association with WA Cycling Federation, to local government with City of Kwinana, to tertiary institutions of UWA Sports and Murdoch University as well as to WA Government with the Department of Sport and Recreation.

Rick is “looking forward to meeting all in the badminton community, sharing the passion they have in this great sport and to help partner in driving it to greater success.” Please come and say hello to him when you are next at Kingsway Stadium.

Badminton WA would like to sincerely thank our outgoing Executive Officer, Eugene Glazman, for his dedication in helping to shape our organisation in the past few years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Eugene will be working with Rick for a smooth transition in the first few weeks.
